Sadness

Wow. I can't believe Grey's tonight. I know there may be some people who haven't watched it yet, so I won't spoil the shocker. But man.....is it depressing!

OK, well, my mind just went blank. I had all these thoughts that I wanted to write down, but now all I want to do is sleep. I'll try again tomorrow.

Worth Your While Wednesday

So I've decided to come up with these silly little names because I have nothing else to do in my life (yeah right!). But seriously, I have found that reading other people's blogs has given me lots of tips and insights, so now I have to impose mine on everyone, lol.

So today, what is worth your while, you ask? Well, here's a short list:

-Windex Vinegar Multi Surface Cleaner

-this stuff is awesome! it's great in the bathroom, you don't need a separate glass cleaner and bathroom cleaner. plus it doesn't smell like chemicals.

-Method Microfiber Glass Cloth (at Target, and I believe on clearance right now! yay!)

-again, awesome, and it works great with the above Windex for mirrors. i have never had such a streak free mirror before. and when it gets too dirty (you know, when you wipe something and it gets more dirt on it than it had before you wiped it :), all you do is throw it in with the next load of wash! how easy is that?

-a website: http://www.safelygatheredin.blogspot.com/

-this is a great resource for LDS and non-LDS alike. there are some great recipes, the author is really funny, and....just go there, OK? just cause I said so, that's right.

So, that's what's worth your while today. Go check out this stuff. It's good stuff. It's even better than the other stuff. Anyway....

Motivate Me Monday and grrrr.......

I'm so annoyed! I finally have a Target in the area, and they don't have fresh produce. I found a coupon for a dollar off a lb. of apples, and they are on sale at Target for 1$/lb. Grr. I wonder if the commissary has apples on sale....

I'm really into apples because I used the dehydrator to make apple chips this weekend. They turned out soooo yummy - just ask Ayden, he ate them all in sacrament meeting, lol. Anyway....here's my list of things to do today for Motivate Me Monday:

-figure out if Ayden is actually enrolled in Early Head Start next year

-finish the pile of laundry waiting for me

-be consistent with Ayden's time-outs (that is obviously an ongoing one!)

-potty-training (another ongoing one)

I love going through and finding everyone's blogs with cool stuff on them. I found a really great one where the girl uses her food storage to make a bunch of great sounding recipes (store what you use, use what you store). Her link is on the top right. If you can't see it, her blog is called Safely Gathered In.

Pretty Day

It is so pretty outside today! I took some bricks from the vacant house across the street and am starting to put them around our garden out front. It looks pretty good, I'm about halfway done. I also took some of those spiky plants from another vacant house and replanted them around the bottom of the little tree in our front yard. I really should take another shower because I got SO muddy and dirty, but....I don't feel like it. I'll be dirty for a day, lol. It's not that bad.

So I just read that they are opening the crown on the Statue of Liberty back up so you can go on it. That is so wierd, the other day Anthony was saying how he wanted to see the Statue of Liberty. I had no idea he even knew what it was! I thought that was really cool.

So I've got lots to update on, but only a few minutes on the computer before I have to go pick Anthony up from school, so I'll do that later today. Until then!
